Citrus Cable Car

I scrambled up to the kitchen counter and found a clean wooden honey dipper resting beside a bright yellow lemon! The ridged grooves looked just like wheels waiting for a track. I pulled a long piece of kitchen string from the drawer corner, but it kept sliding off the slick lemon rind! No worries! I nudged a heavy ceramic salt shaker against the citrus to pin the line down tight. Then I hitched my plastic backpack clip over the suspended string and gave a gentle kick off the counter. Wheee! I glided straight down the diagonal cable line, landing with a soft plush thump right into an empty linen napkin nest! Morning cable car tour complete!
