French Fry Funnel

I jogged down to the bustling food truck plaza and scrambled right up onto the side ledge of an open fry trailer. Resting across a stack of checkered paper boats was a heavy stainless steel French fry scoop with its wide, angled chute! That polished metal funnel looked just like an extreme mini ramp. On pure impulse, I leaped right into the wide mouth and kicked off with both sneaker heels. Shhhk-slide! The slick metal sent me gliding clean down the narrow taper, shooting me straight out the spout into a crisp hop onto the counter. I stuck the landing with an arm out, grinning at the smoothest curb drop yet.
