The Glass Ladybug

I noticed a smooth red pebble sitting in a shallow wooden saucer beside Grandma's recliner. Clutching Elephant securely under one arm, I paused to let my eyes take in the quiet afternoon light. Moving very slowly, I reached out with two fingers to touch it. It wasn't a stone at all, but a tiny glass ladybug with six tiny black painted dots across its shiny red wings. When I nudged its curved back, it spun a quiet little circle on the polished cherry wood, casting a bright ruby sparkle across Elephant's blue ear. We stayed very still, watching the red spot glow. #Mybuddydoll #jason #dollhobby #dollcommunity
