A Dignified Ascent
Finding the cat's restless fidgeting unsuited for sustained repose, I took advantage of a neighboring wooden coat stand. With measured tilts of my brim and deliberate rustles of my russet plume, I eased myself off the warm copper curls and glided gracefully onto the rounded walnut finial. From this elevated post, the entire room unfurls with exceptional clarity. The faint draft near the ceiling offers a delightfully crisp sway to my feathers, and my posture remains impeccably upright.
