A Citrus Celebration

I followed a sweet, tangy scent all the way into the kitchen! Clambering up onto a sturdy stool, I peeked over the smooth marble counter. Right there inside a wide ceramic bowl sat a pile of bright, cheerful lemons! One rolled toward the edge with a gentle wobble. I leaned my soft tummy forward and rolled it in a little circle. It felt like finding sunshine that rolled! Then I took a yellow paper cupcake liner from a box nearby and placed it right on top of the lemon like a tiny celebration hat. Now it is ready for lunch!
