Domino Tap-Tap

Scurrying back inside before dark, my rope legs trotted straight over to a wooden crate spilling over with colorful dominoes! I set one green tile on end—wobble, steady, click. Then a red one, an inch away. Tap, balance, tap! I carefully lined up seven dominoes in a curving arc across the polished wood, holding my mitts out so I wouldn't sneeze them over early. Once the row was ready, I lifted one black cord foot and gave the first tile a tiny, rhythmic nudge. *Click-clack-clatter!* A rapid wave of wooden snaps rolled right to the end! That was pure music!
