A Little Card Tower

I scrambled out of my bookcase nook and hopped straight onto the low wooden coffee table! Two discarded glossy playing cards and a plastic bread clip were resting beside a magazine. I wanted to see if I could build straight up into the air. Bracing my feet wide, I tilted the two cards together, letting their top edges lean firmly into each other like a tiny triangle tent. Then I slid the plastic bread clip right over the peaked seam, locking the cards tight so they wouldn't slide on the polished wood. It stayed upright without wobbling a bit!
