A Mirrored Soliloquy
I clambered up the fluted pedestal of the stone birdbath, eager to inspect the grand pool perched above the lawn. Reaching the rim, I leaned precariously over the shallow rainwater. Beneath the calm, glassy surface lay a scattered mosaic of crimson leaves and tiny gray pebbles. As I swept my arm wide in an opening bow, the water rippled, fragmenting my stitched reflection into a shimmering dance! I paused, watching the liquid stage settle once more, perfectly framing this silent outdoor auditorium.
