Coaster Slide Rally

Tap-tap-clatter! After trotting all the way home from the park in the quiet night breeze, I popped up onto the smooth wooden coffee table to catch my breath! A stack of round cork coasters was sitting right by an open ceramic bowl of polished river stones. Without missing a beat, I nudged the top coaster with my plastic base. Wheeee! It skittered across the polished varnish like a hockey puck, clipping the side of the stone bowl with a soft, hollow thud. I gave a buoyant rock from side to side, then shoved two more into a zig-zag line, turning the dark wood into my own miniature bowling lane!
