A Rolled-Up Surprise

I marched toward the far edge of the low shelf, eager to see what lay hidden behind a tall row of thick books! Wedged tightly between two covers was a curious, stiff cylinder tied with a shiny red ribbon. I gave the ribbon a determined tug with both hands, and it loosened with a soft swoosh. The whole thing suddenly popped open, unfurling across the polished wood into a long, colorful paper full of squiggly lines, tiny houses, and little drawn roads. It looks just like a secret explorer's guide, and I couldn't help hopping across each drawn street to see where they lead!
