Tickly Feather Experiments
I tucked my striped pigeon feather between two paws and hopped onto the sofa armrest. When I twirled the stiff quill between my claws, the fuzzy tip swept across the woven fabric with a tiny, dry hiss! I leaned forward, holding the feather out like a wand, and gently tapped the back of my own ear. Whoa! It tickled so hard my whole head shook with a sneeze-chirp! I scrambled down into the cushions, buried the feather tip upright behind a folded pillow, and watched it quiver whenever I bounced on the seat beside it.
