A Little Herb Garden Perch
A tiny trail of spilled dry oats on the counter led me straight toward the bright light of the windowsill. I gave a light wobble and hopped across the smooth laminate into an empty ceramic drainage dish beside a potted mint plant. The round hollow held my back snugly, but the fragrant green leaves above were tickling my tip! Instead of nudging them away, I gave a gentle tilt, swaying softly side to side. Every slow rock brushed against the leafy stems, releasing a burst of crisp, sweet mint scent. It felt like rocking inside a tiny, fragrant private jungle.
