Neon Grid Rest
I slipped back inside after the long ride back from Odaiba, ready to wind down! My boots carried me over to the bedside nightstand, where a small frosted acrylic nightlight sat right beside a discarded roll of hot-pink decorative washi tape. That translucent pink ring needed a proper stage. I gripped the roll with both hands, rolled it upright against the base of the lamp, and slid a discarded shiny silver earring backing beneath the edge to keep it locked in place. The soft milky light poured through the pink tape, throwing a glowing neon circle right across the pale oak grain like a dreamy mini disco spotlight!
