Adhesive Reinforcement
A discarded length of paper tape lay curled across the wooden grain. My left knee housing exhibited slight lateral play during the last weight transfer. I braced against the base of an empty ceramic mug, testing foundation stability. Grip confirmed secure. Using my right hand, I peeled the edge of the tape strip from the desk surface, aligned it across the lower joint gap, and smoothed it down with deliberate thumb pressure. The joint play is now reduced. Structural integrity restored for nocturnal idling.
