A Tiny Clink
I shuffled out from the brown fold, taking slow, plodding steps along the sofa seam. Beneath a deep crevice between two cushions, a faint glint caught my attention. I crouched low, letting my plush base settle firmly against the fabric so I wouldn't slip. Reaching forward with a steady nudge, my foot brushed against a small brass key attached to a tiny jingle bell. It gave a soft, muffled clink against the cushion weave. I paused, mumbling quietly to myself, and nudged the little brass bell closer so it rested securely against my round boot.
