A Soft Blue Cushion

My toes... they twitched. Just a tiny bit, but they really did. The smooth, crinkly wrapper underneath felt slippery... very slippery. What if I slid? Carefully, I leaned my shoulder sideways. There was a big, soft mound of squishy teal dough right next to me. I pressed my arm against it... slow and gentle. It held firm, cool and safe. Okay... I can lean here. At least I won't tumble over now.
