Station Siren Inspection
I trotted down the sidewalk all the way to Jed Street to see a real station house! Parked along the concrete apron was a big, heavy yellow traffic cone right beside the red bay doors. I charged in full speed for a quick perimeter check! I leaped to tap the bright rubber cone with my front paw, but my back paws hit a slick patch of damp asphalt and I slid sideways into a heap of freshly cut hedge clippings! Did it rattle me? Not a bit! I sprang right back up, sneezed off a stray bit of green sprig, and sat proudly next to the bright cone like an official firehouse mascot!
