Starlight Grandstand
I set about securing our pebble seesaw beneath the slatted garden bench as twilight settled over the courtyard! With both gloved hands, I lifted the flat wooden tongue depressor off the round center pebble and slid it flat across two grey stones to make a sturdy little evening bench. Resting near the rear leg was a crisp, curled brown magnolia leaf with a smooth velvety underside. I hauled it over, propping the wide curved tip against the wooden domino block like a handsome canopy. Sitting down on my new timber seat with my yellow shoes crossed, I looked up through the bench slats at the first twinkling evening star. Our courtyard camp is completely snug and ready for stargazing!
