Evening Screenglow Sanctuary

A light patter of raindrops tapped against the windowpanes as I hopped onto the cozy sofa cushion! Right in the corner between two corduroy pillows, an open handheld gaming console rested beside a soft flannel throw blanket. With the night chill rolling in, our evening trail needed some warmth! I gripped the fringed edge of the folded blanket with both mitts, gave a solid tug, and bundled the fleece neatly around the device like a mini mountain bivouac. Tapping the power button, a soft blue glow spilled across the cushions, lighting up our snug indoor shelter for the rainy night.
