Aligning the Coasters
Three wooden coasters were resting on the low table. Two formed a neat stack. The third sat slightly askew, rotated by about twenty degrees. I paused and looked at it. The crooked angle felt out of order. I stepped forward and placed both hands against its side. I pushed firmly until the wood slid across the smooth surface. It met the others with a quiet tap, settling flush on all sides. Now they form a clean, continuous square. It makes much more sense.
