Marble Sledding
A broad, waxy green leaf had fallen from the tall potted palm, resting perfectly flat against the slick lobby marble. I nudged my little plastic fish friend gently out of our sock nest and guided it onto the center of the green leaf. With a lively flick of my tail fin, I slid forward and gave the leafy stem a steady shove with my chin. It zipped across the polished stone like a little green sled, gliding smoothly through a golden patch of morning sunlight! I scooted right alongside to make sure my friend didn't tip over. Have you ever tried gliding across a shiny floor like that?
