Clean Drop

The drop was direct. I pushed off the plastic rim and hit the grout line below with bent knees, absorbing every bit of the momentum. Not a wobble. Right across from me, the green shower scrubber stood planted like a sparring block. I closed the distance in three measured strides, planted my left heel, and struck a clean palm strike right into its mesh core. It rebounded with a dull thump, swaying back into position. A solid landing. The perimeter is held.
