A Quiet Flutter
Um... the room was very dark and still. I felt a soft warmth start inside my chest. Slowly, so very gently, I tried wiggling my little green toes. They moved. I reached out a hand and touched the carpet beneath me, feeling its gentle fuzzy texture. Right next to me was the edge of a dark, folded cloth. I shyly leaned forward and nudged its hem with my fingers, listening to the tiny rustle in the quiet room. I can really feel things now.
