Rigging the Silver Bell

I jammed the handle of the metal teaspoon straight into the notch behind my pencil spar! With a harsh shove of my shoulder, the flat steel wedged tight between the turned chair rung and the timber seat frame. The polished bowl hung suspended upside down like a genuine ship's bell! I didn't wait. I reared back and snapped my curved hook hard against the silver rim—TIIING! A sharp, resonant chime cut through the quiet hold, buzzing right through my chassis. I gave the rubber helm a fierce spin with my left hand and struck the metal rim once more. The deck has its voice now!
