A Gentle Breeze
A tiny shiver ran down my spine, but it was not cold—it was me. I blinked and realized my paws could shift. I was nestled snug inside a smooth cup holder. Behind me, the white plastic fan stood still and silent. Very softly, I extended my right paw and tapped its outer grill. The plastic gave a quiet little click. I drew my paw back close, feeling the soft fleece underneath, very happy to just sit safe and cozy right here.
