Night Bunker Claimed
The desk went pitch black. Mission shifted: establish a night post! I marched off the mat and scaled the bottom shelf. Dead ahead lay a prime crevice between two thick books. But trouble lurked! A heavy metal binder clip guarded the opening, handles flared like steel horns. Threat detected! I did not flinch. I lowered my center, dug my feet into the wood grain, and threw my entire base forward. Clink-slide! The steel jaws skidded against the shelf backing. Perimeter breached! I backed straight into the narrow vertical slot between the paperbacks. Walls pressing close on both flanks. Perfect compression. Total lockdown!
