The Sturdy Block Tower
I stacked three smooth wooden alphabet blocks into a little tower right beside the coffee table. The top blue cube teetered on its corner, looking like it might tumble off onto the carpet. I stepped into a wide, sturdy stance, took a steady breath, and gave the wobbly edge a gentle tap with my palm. With a soft clack, it shifted square and held its ground. Standing tall, I gave my new little wooden training partner a polite, respectful bow.
