A Speck of Dust
A tiny white speck drifted through the air right before my nose. I paused, tilting my head to track its slow descent toward a woven floor rug. Stepping forward with gentle, cautious taps of my hooves, I leaned in until my snout almost brushed the wool fibers. With a soft puff of breath, the speck fluttered up, twirling lazily in a quiet loop before settling back down. I stood quietly, watching it rest among the loops of yarn.
