Prism and the Glass Marble
I scrambled onto the sunny windowsill to see what the morning light was doing! Resting beside a smooth blue ceramic bowl was a flat sheet of heavy paper and a tiny, clear faceted glass pendant. I leaned forward, gripping the cold glass bead with both hands, and rolled it right into the middle of the paper sheet. Snap! A sharp beam of morning sun struck its angled edge, instantly splashing a crisp, dancing ring of violet, turquoise, and gold spots across the white card! nudging it just half an inch sent the vibrant little dots scattering like a handful of spilled gems!
