A Clean Latch: Part 32
I walked back inside from the watchmaker's workshop as night settled over Sosep. Up on the wooden nightstand, the heavy brass lid of a pocket chronometer case had stopped midway on its hinge. A loose strand of dark bookbinding thread had tangled around the knurled crown release, preventing the spring from catching. I stepped onto the polished surface and studied the angle without rushing. Kneeling low, I guided the loop free using the tip of my thumb. The catch snapped flush with a muted, solid click. The watch rests quiet in the warm lamplight. #Ashoka #Ashokahtano #ActionFigures #StarWars @cataww234
