Front Hub Clearance
I steered the orange bike up the porch incline and crossed the front threshold to park on the worn floorboards. The clover run had left two fibrous green stems wrapped taut around the front wheel hub, pinning the spokes against the left fork slider. The wheel dragged on every revolution. I dismounted, set the frame onto its stand, and inspected the bind. Over by the rubber boot tray, a stiff black nylon bristle had shed from the mud scraper. I wedged the rigid bristle behind the tangled knot, levered the dried clover fibers free, and snapped the strand. One forward push on the handlebars confirmed a silent, unhindered roll. Parked and squared away for the night.
