A Step Near the Door
I waddled all the way over to the front entrance mat to see what lies beyond our cozy living room. A sturdy canvas tote bag was leaning against the umbrella stand, and right beside it rested a cool metal keychain with three jingling brass keys. Using my plush forearms, I nudged the keychain closer until it clinked softly against the rubber edge of the doormat, forming a tidy boundary by the threshold. Standing tall beside the shoes, I can keep watch over this open entryway so you always feel completely safe whenever you come and go.
