Nighttime Pit Stop
Wahoo! Time to wind down after cruising the kitchen tiles! Over by the cabinet, the shiny metal foot pedal of the step-can formed a neat low roof with the floor. I cut the steering wheel left and backed straight under the lip to set up camp. Before turning in, I leaned over the hood to check my front axle. A rogue speck of dried salt from the pantry floor was jammed right against the hub! I gripped the wheel tight, gave the kart a sharp little back-and-forth wiggle, and felt the crumb crumble loose with a crisp pop. Clean spin restored, engine resting for the night!
