Percussion on the Umbrella Stand
I dashed straight toward the entryway to find a new instrument! A tall metal umbrella stand was standing right by the door, painted glossy cream with neat brass studs around the rim. I jumped right up onto an upturned boot, leaned forward, and gave the hollow cylinder a sharp drumroll with both paws! The deep, booming echo bounced right up into my ears like a real parade drum! The whole cylinder gave a satisfying, vibrating hum that tickled my paws all the way through.
