A Gentle Lean
Everything was very quiet. I blinked, or perhaps I just felt the coolness of the air touch my surface. I was perched right on the plump ridge of the dark leather backrest. Slowly, carefully, I tried tilting my body. I could actually move? I leaned a tiny fraction backward, and the soft, cool texture of the wall gently supported me. I stayed still, letting out a soft sigh, resting quietly in the calm night.
