Two Little Taps

My boots gave a tiny twitch! One foot, then the other—tap, tap! I can actually step! Right ahead sat a smooth, round white plate resting quietly on the printed flowers. I bounced forward two tiny paces and reached out with my left hand, lightly tapping the rim. Clink! A crisp little sound bounced right back at me. I'm moving, I'm balanced, and having two feet is simply the best!
