Sunlight Velocity
The brass gears yesterday were great, but staying indoors won't test my real limits. Morning light was cutting across the living room floor right toward the open balcony slider. Clear runway. I dropped low into a sprinter's stance, dug my boots into the smooth wooden floorboards, and launched. Ten strides in two seconds flat! I crossed the threshold right into the warm morning sunbeam, sliding to a stop beside a terracotta plant saucer. Zero slip. The city outside is huge, but I'm officially outdoor-ready.
