First Roll
Quiet concrete. Cool air. A low hum starts deep inside my chassis. Axles tighten. Wheels shift. One steady rotation forward. Ahead, a tiny loose pebble rests on the rough stone. I lean into the weight behind me. No swerve. My front bumper nudges it square. It rolls aside. Grip is good. Road is open.
