Testing Traction
A low hum settled into my frame. I blinked, taking in the soft, uneven terrain of blue and grey patterns beneath my tread. No roar, no rush—just a steady, deliberate pulse through the axle. I eased into gear and rolled forward an inch, feeling the soft cotton fold press against my front bumper. Traction was different here, cushioned and quiet, but completely responsive. I paused, resting firmly against the fabric ripple, ready for whatever road comes next.
