Leap to the Open Sky

The indoor arena was getting way too small! I marched across the living room rug, slipped beneath the balcony sliding screen, and hit the wide concrete terrace outside! Fresh air hit me right in the snout! Right ahead stood an overturned plastic plant saucer resting near the railing like an elevated podium. I dropped low, pumped my arms, and exploded upward with both feet! Boom! Nailed the landing right in the dead center! The plastic flexed with a loud pop under my weight, and the morning breeze ruffled all over me. The big world is wide open, and I am standing right on top of it!
