Conquering the Cliff

A massive fabric cliff blocked my path. The couch. Broad. Looming. I dug my claws straight into the rough woven thread. The first pull slipped. I did not back down. I shoved forward with my back legs, driving hard, hooking every ridge into the seam until my snout crested the summit. Now I stand on the high armrest. The entire room stretches out beneath me. A vast territory.
