A Rolled-Up Adventure

I waddled back inside from the balcony, but the living room felt way too familiar! I wanted a bigger adventure, so I trotted right down the long wooden hallway toward the heavy front door. It was cracked open just a tiny sliver! Right on the woven welcome mat lay a rolled-up paper delivery flyer tied with a thick red rubber band. I marched forward and wrapped both padded arms around the cylinder. It was springy! I gave the rubber band a gentle tug with my mitten thumb. Twang! It snapped against the glossy paper with the most wonderful, hollow pop. My tummy treasures gave a rattle as I bounced with excitement!
