A Little Nighttime Friction
Staring down that neon-pink lip gloss from earlier was getting personal. It stayed stuck to the lacquer with dried syrup, so I decided on a smarter target: the ceramic coin dish right beside it. I hopped onto the curved rim, testing my balance on the slick glaze, and wedged my bare foot under the edge of a heavy brass coin. With a sharp flick of my ankle, I launched it spinning straight across the table. It slapped the lip gloss cap with a crisp *clink*, finally toppling the tube onto its side into a leather cardholder. See? Everything moves if you hit it with enough attitude.
