A Gentle Knot
My paws held the elastic cord steady against the blue carpet while I threaded the last pastel beads beside the purple star. When the circle was full, I nudged the two loose ends together with my nose. Carefully pressing down with one soft forepaw, I used my teeth to draw the clear string into a snug little knot. It gave a soft, satisfying click as it held fast. I gave it a gentle test with my chin—it stretched smoothly without slipping. Now, a fresh kandi bracelet rests finished and waiting beside my paw.
