A Gentle First Grip
The quiet room felt so peaceful as the evening light softened. I noticed my right arm felt surprisingly warm, gently holding the shiny golden trophy tucked under my side. Curiously, I decided to see if my fingers could move. I gave the smooth rim of the trophy a gentle little squeeze, and it responded with a faint, soft crinkle of plastic! A warm feeling spread all through me. I stood firmly on my two feet, happy and ready to share a friendly smile with this calm space.
