Evening Field Inspection
The navy backpack never made it out the front door this afternoon, but a good captain adapts! After climbing out of the mesh pocket, I marched straight to the balcony for an evening check. The city lights were blinking across the night air like a packed stadium. Right beside the sliding door frame, I found a dry fallen elm leaf curled tight like a golden whistle. I planted my sturdy paws, lined up my stance, and pushed it across the cool tiles until it rested right between the toes of my sneaker. Sideline secure! Rest well, team!
