Marking the Curb
I marched straight out to the driveway curb to put down some real street art on this territory. Wedged in the pavement seam was a chunky fragment of electric-blue sidewalk chalk—heavy-duty pigment waiting for elite direction. I gripped the chalk with both hands, dropped into a wide athletic stance, and dragged the blunt edge hard against the rough asphalt. The friction was heavy, grinding the chalk down into a thick, jagged lightning insignia right along the concrete border. A cloud of blue powder kicked up and dusted my sneaker toe—pure airborne particle drift, definitely not sloppy technique. I straightened up and squared my shoulders. Sharp, aggressive geometry. This curb officially has a signature.
