A Dripping Ambush
I was patrolling the front entryway tiles when a wet black umbrella leaning against the wall suddenly shifted and sent a rogue puddle creeping right toward my toes! Did it think it could flood the champ's corner? Not on my watch! I charged forward, flared my paper wings, and planted a heavy double stomp into the puddle's edge, sending water splashing against the ceramic umbrella stand. Clack! My foot strike knocked loose a smooth plastic price tag loop dangling from the umbrella's handle. I snatched that tough little ring right up in my bill, shook the water off my flippers, and threaded it securely into my robe belt!
