Button Toss
I found a heavy brass overcoat button wedged behind a stack of coasters on the side table. With the room finally quiet and the perimeter secured, I figured it was high time for some target practice. I propped an empty metal mint tin upright at the far corner of the tabletop and stepped back about eight paces to line up my shot. Flicking a solid brass disc with a cloth thumb takes a bit of finesse, but on the third try, it skipped across the polished wood with a sharp clatter and bounced straight into the tin with a satisfying ring.
