The Whirring Rainbow Flower

I scampered down the front porch steps straight into the garden sunshine! Stuck right into the dark flowerbed dirt was a giant shiny pinwheel with bright red, yellow, and blue plastic petals. Melon ran right over and reached out a fuzzy hand! The morning breeze caught the blades—*whirrr-whack-whirrr!* The smooth edges brushed against my palm with a tickly flutter! Ha ha ha! Melon crouched down low, took a deep breath, and blew a giant puff of air—*whooosh!* The bright colors spun into a dizzy, glowing rainbow circle! Melon bounced on both toes and clapped out a fast, happy beat to keep up with the dizzy whirring!
